Camloch Collies, Reg'd
is located in beautiful Upstate Western New York. We have been breeding since 1992, although we have had Collies since 1984. It is our goal to create Collies that are healthy; have temperaments that are sound in mind and body to be able to do any activity their human partner wishes; and fit the Collie Standard with correct skulls, and soulful faces.

We are actively involved in Obedience, and Herding, as well as Conformation and Breeding. Dogs we have bred have gone on to earn titles in Herding, Agility, Obedience, Rally, Conformation and others who work as Service Dogs for disabled individuals.  Krista is actively involved in training dogs, teaching others to help bring out the best in their dogs, and is an AKC Conformation Judge. David is a Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist in a busy practice.

We are active members of: The Collie Health Foundation (current board members), Collie Club of America, and the Rochester Collie Club.

10/4/14 :: Simon was High in Trial at an AHBA trial from the HTDs1 class. He earned a score of 86-1/2 out of 90 points, and finished his title the day after.

9/6/14 :: Simon, Ch. Camloch Sensation!, RN, HSAs earned another herding title when he completed his Herding Started duck title.  This was at the Wine Country Belgian Tervuren Club's trial.  Ducks are Simon's absolute favorite stock to work.  He smiles and chatters his teeth with Joy as he works them.

At the same trial, youngster Caleb, Camloch Luminescence earned his first leg on his Herding Tested title working sheep.  This young rough dog has so much natural talent, that it's exciting!

9/7/14 :: Simon and I were on a roll and qualified again the next day at the Rochester Collie Club's herding trial.  We are learning to work as a team more and more every day.  Ducks are difficult to work so it feels wonderful to be making steady progress working them.

Caleb completed his HT title at the same trial.  It is exciting to work such a young dog and see where he is headed as a working dog in the sport that the breed was bred to do.  He will also embark on a conformation career when he is ready.
